The P3 Strain Indicator and Recorder

The P3 Strain Indicator and Recorder is a portable, battery-operated instrument. It can accept up four inputs from quarter, half, and full bridge strain gage (gauge) circuits, including strain-gage-based transducers. Front-panel lever operation terminal blocks enable fast connection and reconfiguration, and the TIO option adds high-quality Transducer Input connectors. A highly stable measurement circuit, regulated bridge excitation supply, and precisely settable gage (gauge) factor enable measurements of ±0.1% accuracy and 1 microstrain resolution. The P3 can be operated stand-alone via the membrane switch front panel or from the supplied software though USB to a PC.

The Model D4 Data Acquisition Conditioner

The Model D4 Data Acquisition Conditioner is a USB-powered instrument that connects to a personal computer. It can accept up four inputs from quarter, half, and full bridge strain gage (gauge) circuits via RJ45 connectors. A highly stable measurement circuit, regulated bridge excitation supply, and precisely settable gage (gauge) factor enable measurements of ±0.1% accuracy and 1 microstrain resolution. Operation is via the supplied software and can operate up to six D4s concurrently for up to 24 channels.

The MultiDAQ or StudentDAQ

The MultiDAQ is a unique and simple single-channel device. Whilst it does not have the advanced features of its multi-channel siblings, it enables quick measurements with a minimum of setup. Strain gage (gauge) inputs (quarter, half, and full bridge) can be connected via the RJ45 connector and set up with the supplied software. Measurement units can be microstrain or user-defined for load or displacement measurements, and up to twelve devices can be operated at the same time. The internal quarter bridge resistance is fixed; three versions are available for 120, 350, or 1000 Ω inputs.
